A feature to link a 'Going to sleep' playlist to an alarm clock.
The 'Going to sleep' playlist will play according to it's settings until the alarm it's linked to starts to turn on.

Options for fading in and out.
A 'going to sleep' playlist does not *need* to be linked to an alarm, in which case it goes until either a set amount of time, or a set time.
Options for volume of 'going to sleep' playlist and linked alarms.

what do you think? It would be very useful for me (which by the way, I'm a registered user)

Maybe you could call the feature 'chamomile' after the tea that helps you go to sleep. Ornj chamomile, mmmmmm :d

Is there a way to change the 'Sleep' hotkey for alarms to something else (through an .ini file or registy setting or something)? Also could you make this a feature in a future version. Also I would like to be able to set different volume level for individual alarms, as well as fade and sleep minutes.... actually just every setting that's in the 'Program Options' dialog I would like to have the control for each specific alarm.

Thanks,

Hi, I've been using Citrus for a while now on Windows 7 and got the 2.3 update when it came out. A while back, Citrus stopped playing any type of music file, the same ones it used to play flawlessly. Now, any time it tries to load any music file of any type, it simply uses the emergency "chime" and a bubble pops up from my task bar reading "object reference not set to an instance of an object". I've never had this issue before, but I should clarify that I used v2.3 for a while before it showed up. This error even occurs if I try to play the media file using an external player. I'd love to use Citrus again! Please help me solve this issue. Thanks.

Citrus keeps giving me this error (the media file took to long to load/play, something along these lines) after it goes off but it still does everything fine. I'm thinking perhaps it takes to long to wake my computer up from standby and then access my music which is on an external drive but should I be worried?

I just downloaded the trial version of Citrus Alarm Clock 2.3 and was immediately
disappointed because it does not support unicode MP3 filenames. I have many MP3
files that are in Korean/Japanese and they're not playable using the playlist
feature. Is there a plan to add unicode support?

I have a volume problem that was mentioned elsewhere.
(Windows Vista)
I like the fade option, so I don't want to use an external media player.

Often I get an error message "media has taken too long to open". This happens sometimes when the alarm initializes and sometimes during song changes. The music continues, at whatever level the volume was set at before the crash. But There are no further volume changes.

In another post you mentioned a fix in the next release. Do you have a workaround for this problem before the next version is released?

So my audio plays fine, if the drive has been active recently. The drive takes a bit to spin back up if it hasn't been in use for very long (AKA after a night of non-use while I sleep). Is there a way to change the time before citrus gives up on loading the song and plays the error sound instead?

It gives an error summarized as: Took too long to open media.

Would it be possible to add an option where the track being played is shown on the alarm screen? A few times now I've actually been woken up by music I didn't even remember _having_, and couldn't remember where it came from. The terrors of having a large collection and one playlist for the alarm... <img src="http://support.ornj.net/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />

Or, really, even a log somewhere of the tracks played during the last activation would work too. I'm not picky!

Hello

I recently get Citrus alarm Clock (2.3) and it worked correctly until I set the alarm and close the edit interface of this application. Now the alarm I've settled works correctly, but I can't reach the edit interface. When I try to run the software, a message open saying something like "Citrus alarm clock is already active" (I don't know exactly the translation because my language is french) and I can't do anything with the software. I already try to close the application by the task manager, but it doesn't appears either. I can't even uninstall it because it's saying something like "can't uninstall because the software is in the course of working." Could you help me?

Can you include a sequential playback option for the playlist?
This is because I want to wake up gently with a slow song, followed by faster songs in order.

I also would like to try using morning affirmations which have to be played in sequential order.

Mark,

I'm trying to do a clean install of Citrus. Are there any registry keys or hidden files that get left behind when I uninstall the program through add/remove programs?

The reason I'm doing this is because both 2.2 and 2.3 beta are causing a lot of problems with any that's related to explorer.exe.
