It would be kinda cool if you could perhaps list the file size (both on the harddrive and as it stands in the editor) in the status bar, perhaps on the far right, above the clock. Know what I'm saying? I can provide a screenshot if you would like to know what the heck I'm talking about.

By the way, I love Araneae. I wrote my entire website in it and recommend it to everyone I know. I look forward to the new version, especially to correct that error in Windows 2000 that I get when I try to open up multiple files. If you don't know what I'm talking about on that one, I'll provide more info. Thanks!

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the references and support.
I'll think about putting in an optional filesize indicator.

The multiple files error, as far as I can tell, has been corrected. Araneae 5 opens multiple files quickly and efficiently.

If you do choose to (or have already chosen to) show the file size, have an option to display the value in bytes or kilobytes (1 KB = 1024 B).

    Thanks,
    David Bindel
