Any idea why it takes a while for Araneae to register a RUN command at start>run??

A windows explorer-type expandible/colapsable side bar with file filters would be neat and make it easy for quick file access. Macros for text blocks that you often use would be handy also!

Anyway, I'l still anxiously anticipating the release of Araneae 5! Keep up the great work on the program!

    Hi epp_b,

I'm not entirely sure what you mean regarding the start>run command. I'm interested, though. Care to elaborate?

I've been thinking about the embedded Windows Explorer. I'll see how much more support it gets.

Start (menu) > Run, then type in a command. Many programs register a run command (@ least that's what I call it).
Eg.: Typing in iexplore will launch Internet Explorer.

Anyway, sometimes I can type in Araneae and it will launch Araneae.exe. I find it quite handy when working as it gives me a quick way to launch the program without leaving the keyboard (I'm big into keyboard shortcuts...).

Ooh! Suggestion: Add an option that allows the user to choose whether the settings should be stored using an ini file or the Registry. Makes it easier to import and export settings. Might as well put the template in the ini file too, if that becomes a reality.

Sorry, forgot one thing. The 'run command' is usually the name of the main executable file (*.exe) that is the actual program. (araneae.exe)
