    Hi Mark,

For a while now I have been working via Terminal Server (doing my ASP work on my own server at home, from my work ). I've always done this with Araneae.

The big problem for me is that I have a 8kb/sec ISDN line here, which is shared by a LOT of people. Therefore I don't get much of the bandwidth, and need to make every keypress count. Unfortionatly, it appears that Araneae is about 3 times slower than notepad via Terminal Server... A single page takes up to 5 seconds to build up, while Notepad does that within 1 sec... Is there anything you can do about that? I know that TS is designed to be fast while still using very little bandwitdh, and it does that by accelerating the default Windows components.

My conlcusion is that A.'s textmode is a new one which is unrecognized by TS, and thus cannot be accelerated (and TS needs to send ALL the info, like color, font, etc over the line).

This won't be a high priority thing, but I would really appreciate it if you could look into this. If you wish, I can give you access to my TS for testing purposes.

(terminal server is Microsoft Terminal Server which comes with Windows 2000)
