Computer does not recognize ext. usb drive (4 posts)

    I have a Dell Optplex320 and use Windows XP. I was recently hijacked and we had to reinstall most programs.
    I have an external Western Digital MD1200 Digital hard drive for backups etc. I reinstalled it but the computer does not recognize it.
    It does recognize my Seagate backup drive.
    What can I do?

    I'm afraid you've got the wrong support forums. Your best bet may be to contact Seagate or Dell directly. Sorry!

    I've had to moderate through a ton of spam recently, and it seems to be getting worse. I'll be upgrading to some new forum software as soon as bbPress 2.0 is out of beta, but in the meantime I'll have to keep everything clean and running smoothly by manually dealing with the spammers.
