    Hi,
I just discovered this Alarm clock and I'm finding it very useful so far.
There is one small limitation however.
Sometimes in the evening I like to play my music reasonably loud as I'm doing hw so I set my volume at around 50%. I really like the idea of the Ensure system volume is at least x% function of this player but it can't turn my volume down to reasonably comfortable levels for the alarm if the system volume is high to begin with. I need to be able to do this as I don't want to wake up the other students in my suite in the rooms next door.

I would much appreciate it if this functionality could be added in a recent update.

    Thanks,
    Lewis.

    Thanks for the suggestion, Lewis.

Better volume control is a popular request, so I'm happy to say that the upcoming version of Citrus, which is currently in beta testing, has an option to set the maximum alarm volume.

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried out the 2.3beta3 build of Citrus and it indeed does have a max alarm volume option. However, what I'm looking for is an option to set the SYSTEM volume to a specific value prior to the alarm, while the current implementation for the maximum alarm volume only sets the volume of the alarm itself to a fraction of the current system volume, and doesn't change the system volume itself. This is not ideal since if my system volume is low to begin with then I may not be able to hear the alarm properly.

Thank you for taking my suggestion into consideration,
    Lewis.
