When I open a previous saved album to add photos it says: Warning: some of the original photographs could not be found. All the names of the existing photos start with a [?]mark.
The button 'find the missing photos' doesn't do anything.

What can I do to avoid this problem when I want to add photos?

This message appears when you delete or move the original photos that were used to create your album. Web Album Generator requires all of the original photographs so that new photo size settings can be used, among other things.

To avoid this message, make sure that all your original photos are in the same location as they were when you first created your album. If they were on a CD or USB key, you can simply re-insert the drive and Web Album Generator should find them. If you moved the photos from their original location, you can click the "Find missing photos" button and select the folder where they are now; Once you select that folder, Web Album Generator will update the locations for you.

    I hope this helps!

Hi Mark, thanks for your quick reply.
I chose for "choose another picture" and replaced the same pictures, and when I try to generate the album including the new picture it says: The system cannot find the given file.
While it shows another adres as were the new pictures came from. Is it possible to change this adres somehow?

I guess I found the solution Mark, I have to be sure to save them to the same album at the same adress.

How do you update photos? Do you have to press generate new album? There is no link for updating! I opened the existing album, added pics but it does not update. What am I doing wrong?

You'll need to regenerate the album after you've made your updates, but you can re-load your old album first so you won't need to re-add all your old photos or re-type your captions and titles. Simply double-click the ".wag" file in your old generated photo directory, or use the "open" menu item to select it.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks Mark. I got so far, but now it will not replace the rempte folder even though it pretense to do it. Files are transfering. It says it will take 15 minutes, but after 2-3 minutes it was finished and not updated. What could it be?
