   I just bought Citrus Alarm Clock 2 to replace my old Citrus Alarm Clock version. I have had the previous version installed for a while, and have recently tried to uninstall it. But the program won't go away. I've tried Add/Remove but it doesn't even appear in the list anymore.

   I am going to remove all of my alarms on the old version when i receive the new one. And I will be disabling it on startup, so it won't be bugging me any more. I have it set to start with Windows, so do you think that's why it wont go away?

   EDIT: Oh, I'm sorry, I should have posted this in Citrus Archives section.

   Edit 2: OK, so I read a post in the Archives section. It says to close Citrus before uninstalling, I didn't do that and no longer have the installation file. So I will try closing Citrus and then deleting the folder it is in. Hopefully this will work. I will try it once I set up my new Citrus 2.

   Hi James,

   Yeah, the old version would have trouble uninstalling if the program was still running when the uninstallation program was launched. Simply deleting the Citrus Alarm Clock folder in your Program Files directory will have the same effect as uninstalling, though. The old version of Citrus didn't store settings files anywhere else.

   Hello so I also have the old version of citrus and it seems to have another problem at the moment. I had a glitch in the program to where it would not show an icon in computer start up; also it would still play the set alarms. Without thinking too much about it, having it as my only alarm since college, I uninstalled to to reinstall it. Well now when I tried to reinstall it the installer says that it is still on my computer as well as my computer still will play the alarm settings. Unfortunately I cannot find the files that are left in my computer and have just found out by coming to your website that you have an updated version for sale and am interested in purchasing said product.

   That's a strange situation! If the program is running, but you can't see the icon, try using the Windows Task Manager to stop the program manually. Once the program is no longer running, try running the uninstallation program again.

   (You can activate the Windows Task Manager by right-clicking on a blank section of the task bar and selecting "Task Manager." Select the alarm clock program and click "End Task" to quit it.)

   Sad. Still not working thanks for the support. Now at the times the alarm should go off my computer continually gets the error sound. I have decided to reformat my computer because it has other issues but again thank you for your prompt support.
