I have an Expression Web page all ready for the nifty album I have created in WAG. But no clue how to get them together. Tried "import" file. Nada. Tried "insert," that didn't work.
I am using an EW Template.
Any suggestions?

Sadly, I'm not really familiar enough with Expression Web to offer any instructions. Your best bet may be to try the Microsoft forums or newsgroups and see if anyone has some advice for importing existing HTML pages.
Best of luck!
I am a user of Expression Web and just found out about this program tonight so was playing around with it. Part of it will depend on the template you are using. I am working with a fixed width template to start with. I copied most of the main.css that is created as part of the album to the style sheet that goes with the template.
Next step is to create editable regions in the template for the content to drop into. I have already validated the template itself coded with xhtml so I then attach it to the index pages. Check to see how it looks and if it still validates. It will take some time to attach it to all pages if you have a large album.
You can see the finished result at http://www.the-gearys.com/megs-wedding/
Only the index pages and the first three images on the first page have the template attached. Needs a lot more work but it can be done. A lot will depend on the template you are using.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions.
I haven't mastered the "same page" insertion, but I'm pretty happy with this solution for the time being. At least, I can get the pictures out there. And I think it's nice to have the entire page with pictures only, without other distractions on the slide show.
Here is a sample:

Click on the reference to my slideshow near the bottom of the page to view the picture album.
Thanks for your help!

easy. find the folder you created with your web album creator. Right click, copy. Go into your folder list in Expression Web, choose where you want the folder to be, right click, paste. Easy as the rest of expression web from there. It doesn't seem to work using the import folder tool. Typical microsoft.

then click on any of the game pics links on the bottom of the page. You'll see the ever so simple photo albums that look as good as anything else. Gotta love it, function and design.
