I can't seem to connect to your website right now, but the most common cause of this problem is because the "photos" directory may not have been uploaded. When you move your mouse over a thumbnail, check the filename in the status bar and make sure that location exists on your website.
If the picture title and comments show up, but the picture itself doesn't, then your FTP program may have renamed the files as they were uploaded. Some FTP programs in particular will chage filenames to all lowercase letters. If you suspect this is the case, check your FTP program settings and try to disable this feature. -
Sorry ,i was try to trouble shooting it and deleted the page and tried this ..
here is the new url..

If you go through the album you can see some pictures will acutally come up.. Ive tried to reinstall the software,re loading the pictures into a new album, also tried editing the html text. Im at a loss.one thing I did notice was on the pictures that work the html is is written in lower case ..example:
picture1.jpg ,the ones that dont work are wriiten as such:picture.JPG
,Ive tried renaming and changing the jpg,but no luck. as I said before it works perfectly on my computer and even on other computers I have, but when I upload it,only some work.Im using front page 2000, now what I havent tried was uploading the files and folders sepretly, instead of uploading it in the folder I saved it in.what do you think?
oh,p.s. on the first picture in the row if you click on it ,I hyperlinkto the jpg instead of the html.. -
Hi again,
After having looked at the web page, the problem definitely seems to be a lowercase/uppercase issue.
Try disabling the lowercase feature of your FTP client and re-uploading the images. Alternatively, you can rename all the images to lowercase on your home computer, re-generate the album, and then upload everything again. -
Well, the problem is solved. You were right about the upper case lower case
problem.but whats weird was, front page uploaded the file names in lower case, and in the location it named them in uppercase. So basically I had to go into the photo folder and open each html file and with the browse option ,select the lower case file name for each photo.took about an hour but it works now. So in the future anybody using MS Front Page might have to do this as well. you can view the working model at:

I'm happy to hear everything's working. Rest assured, the next version of Web Album Generator will automatically change the filenames to lowercase so this sort of situation can be avoided.
