Yes, that's not a very informative error message is it?
The JPEG errors are only caused by a JPEG file that, for some reason, had its data corrupted. This could be due to a disk error, or the application that saved it may not have done it properly. Removing the corrupted JPEG from the album should correct the problem.
In future versions of Web Album Generator, a single corrupted JPEG will not halt the generation of the entire album. If you'd like to be notified of new versions via email, please feel free to sign up for the Web Album Generator Announcement List.

Hi, I transfered all my old photos onto my new laptop. I had no problem with transfer. When I start laptop the error 53 comes up.
Do I need to delete all photos, and then reload to see if that solves problem?
thank you

I don't think deleting and re-adding the photos will help the problem. This error usually means that one or more photos in particular are corrupted and can't be read by Web Album Generator. Try viewing each photo in the Photographs list and see which ones are giving you errors. Delete those photos and try generating the album again.

Hi Mark
I opened each photo. no errors. i am using windows 7. I am not familiar with viewing photos in a photograph list. ?
thank you -
Try opening up your saved album inside Web Album Generator and click on each file in the "Photographs" list (it's the left-most panel in the main Web Album Generator window). If any of the photographs have issues that Web Album Generator can't handle for some reason, you will see an error message.
Generally, opening and re-saving problem photographs in an external photo editor (even MS Paint) will solve the problem with corrupted photographs.

i had problem by opening the jpeg file it will generate a erroe 53
how can i get dis image -
I don't think it's file related, I'm doing programming with Jpeg images without even saving anything to the disk, strictly just in the memory... I'm having the same error. It could have to do with Jpeg compression.
