I'm sure this is the heighth of dumbth and I'm probably skipping a step here - but I just installed the album maker yesterday. It was incredibly easy to use, etc. - but - when I tried to link it to words on a forum bulletin board I belong to - the link insisted on prefacing it with 'http' I can't change it except to 'ftp' and one other which won't work. I can send a link to people via Outlook Express - no problem. Is there a way around this? Thanks.

I sent test e-mail messages FROM my Microsoft Outlook TO my Outlook Express and Hotmail account, linking the album URL to words. In Outlook Express, I was able to click on the phrase and it worked. In Hotmail - it didn't work!

The Forum I referred to is part of Microsoft Communities/Groups.

    Hi printmaker,

The 'http' is part of the standard URI format, so it shouldn't cause any problems. The bulletin board probably requires you to preface the link with http for compatability reasons. Try leaving the 'http' in the link and see if it causes any problems. If it does, you could always ask people to type the URL in manually.

It's probably a goofy Microsoft thing.
