I have emailed regarding paying for a licence to be able to not have to include the url link on the generated pages, but have not heard back.

Please advice info on how to do that

    Thanks

    Hi Diane,

I have, in the past, offered a different license that allows you to remove the "Created with…" link in exchange for a $30 donation, and I'd be happy to extend this offer to you as well, but I should warn in advance that there currently isn't a means to automatically remove the link, so you'd have to do it manually by editing each page or by using a bulk search-and-replace program.

I do plan to offer an easier way to remove the link for anyone who wishes to purchase a different license. That option will likely appear in an upcoming version.

I just wanted to add my vote for this. I would be happy to pay for a license without the link back.

Notepad++ will find and replace text in multiple html files so after paying $30 you could easily remove it.

Altering or removing the link violates the Web Album Generator license agreement. If you wish to remove it, you will need to contact me and arrange to get an alternate license.

    Hello Mark,
If I use your code for someone else's website and want to remove the back link, do they need to buy a license or do I? If I buy a license, can I use it on multiple website's without paying again and again? If I buy it can I
give a copy to them for their use (as I really don't need it, my software has one the same only built-in)?
    Thank you for replying.

Yes, if you donate and receive an alternate license then you are free to remove the link from any album you create. With the license, I'll also provide a simple tool to automatically remove the links from your albums.

I have a genealogical web site and I need to create a number of albums to cover all the dead folks in my tree
by surname. Can this be done?
How do I create links to my main page for each album?
As I build a number of web sites, I use an FTP program to up load, considering how you advise uplolading is this a problem?

    Thanks...............Will

    Say Will,

We created 4 albums for the same website, uploaded their folder to our host provider via FTP, and incorporated them into the website by a link in an iframe. Therefore your link will be the URL of where the folder is located. Hope this helps.

Say Mark, I had a thought - is it possible for you're niffy little generator to place watermarks on photo's?

    Sharon
