While I like many of the features of WAG, I was initially disappointed in the quality of the web page images. This was because I normally crop or enhance my camera's digital photos and resave them prior to processing them through WAG. Unfortunately, this dual processing of jpegs results in noticeable degradation of the final images. I get around this by saving my cropped pictures in 640 x 480 format using my photo editing software and then after processing them through WAG, I replace the WAG output photos with the edited ones I used for input.
Perhaps a future version could allow the user to pass the inputted pictures straight through WAG without modification. I would also like to see better quality thumbnails plus navigation controls to the side of the picture to allow easier reading of the captions without scrolling.

You are right. That was initially very disappointing to me. That is why I use IrfanView to resize/resample my images to the desired size and then copy them over the files created by WAG
