Thinking about buying this prog (still on eval version at the moment), but I'm concerned by the fact that when I hit snooze the play pauses ok, but I don't seem to be able to get it to restart, and if left on its own it just stays paused. I've checked and pushing spacebar again doesn't work, clicking within the graphic or anywhere else same result.

    Am I missing something?

    Any help appreciated.
    Thx

Putting the alarm into snooze mode will pause the alarm for 9 minutes by default. If that's too long, you can change this amount of time from the program options screen. Hope this helps!

Thanks, but that's exactly what it doesn't do. As I mentioned, snoozing holds the pause for several hours. I don't seem to be able to get it back at all once it snoozes...

Very strange; no one has reported this behaviour before. Does the music play normally before entering snooze mode? Also, could you provide me with any system details that might help me with my investigation? (Your version of Windows and version of Windows Media Player will be helpful in particular.)

Sure. I'm using a brand new pc, AMD Phenom II X6 1055T, 8 gb RAM, WIn 7 Home Premium full version, 64-bit. I don't use WMP; normally I use Videolan's VLC player for my music, but as the alarm says you need to use the built-in player I just use that.

Tried it again this morning. Although the snooze seemed to end at 9 mins (the title began flashing), the music did not come back on and I slept till midday from 9, there was no further activity on the prog.

Thx for your help. If you need any further info please let me know.

Having a similar problem that just started recently (I've been using the program for several years.) The alarm goes on initially, but when I hit the spacebar to snooze it, for some reason it sets the volume in the volume mixer for Citrus Alarm Clock all the way down. I can turn it up, but the same thing happens when I snooze it again. Very strange. Like I said, I've using the program for years with no problems...

One more thing... using the exact same laptop I've been using for years. Probably related to the 'Volume Bug' thread...

I started having this same problem very recently as well after a new Windows install. Never happened before, but if I hit snooze, it never goes off again.

A new version of Citrus, 2.3.4, has been released that should resolve this issue.

This issue occurred when the volume of an alarm was allowed to fade in all the way, and was then put into sleep mode, but has now been fixed. You can download the new version from the home page.

Mark, thanks for sorting this. I have downloaded the latest version and can report it works fine now.
    Thx again
