Scroll Wheel (7 posts)

When I'm using the scroll wheel on my mouse, it works simply to wheel it back and forth. But when I click it, the placement on the page jumps to the carot rather than opening the scrolling-circle (not the official name for it, but I don't know exactly what it's called) that allows you to drag the mouse along the screen and scroll withing the page. This would be neat, but isn't an absolute need if time is scarce.

Never mind about that last one. My mouse driver wasn't installed :-//

No, I think you were right. My scrolling wheel behaves like that as well.

OK, now that I've installed my mouse driver, the scroll-circle appears
(actually it's four black arrows, but they serve the same purpose), but, it's still a bit buggy, because of the way it works.
You can click it to scroll by dragging the mouse accross the screen, but once you click [the scroll button] again, it returns to the cursor's location.
However, this is easily remedied by clicking either of the other mouse buttons to place the cursor at the scrolled-to location.
I can see why this may not be a priority in your development of Araneae, so if it's too much of a hassle, don't bother with it.

Hmm, weird. My scrolling wheel still doesn't work. And my mouse came with my computer, so I'd guess the driver's installed.

Try going to your mouse's manifacture's (there's got to be a better way to say that
) website to download the latest drivers for it. -
Right, I'll try that. Thanks.
