I don't know who is doing all this spaming, but it seems to be coming by e mail. However if you happen to read this Mr. Spammer, I am getting real tired of deleteing your crap. But I can keep it up just as long as you can.

The spam is becoming a huge problem. I've tried blocking the spammers' IP from posting to this support forum, but it doesn't seem to have worked. (They're using some sort of proxy servers.)

I've been looking into setting up new support forum software for some time now. This might be the motivating factor to switch once and for all.

You could set up a security code that would have to be entered with each post, that will stop it. But also it will be slightly inconvenient for the legitimate posters.

This spam seems to be coming from an auto e-mailer, and that is about the only way to stop it. A lot of free guest book sites have had to resort to such measures, to stop e-mail spam entries.

Well, I think the spam is under control for now, but I'm still looking into new support forum software.

phpBB is more designed for communities (such as fan sites) to begin with, and not really technical support where it's important for people to find answers to their questions.

It seems to be, I haven't seen any in the past few days.
