Thumbnails always come out as black blocks whenever i run the program. Im using win 2000 server. Whats weird is that they are shaped corresponding to the shape of the full size pic, and all the full size pics are correct. The files are of normal filesize i guess, all around 650-800K. Anyone else seen this?

I've never heard of black boxes appearing before, but I know of one other person that was getting garbled thumbnails with old video drivers. I would suggest downloading the latest video drivers from your manufacturer's website.

ok, that could be what it is because this server that im running it on doesnt have a keyboard, mouse or monitor on it at all, i remote into it with terminal services. It has a old matrox card in it, and if you plug a monitor into it, it says unknown video in the device manager.

But anyway, what would the video card have to do with processing the file to create a thumbnail? i thought that would all be processed information.

Strange. I'll look into it. If anyone else has problems with 2000 Server, let me know.

Same issue. It is not driver related by any means. I have tried using the default settings to no avail, but chaning the settings (in regards to target picture size) to original, I am able to see the target, but no thumbnails. I get the same issue on my XP box. I believe this issue has something to do with file size etc.
