    Hi,

I'd just like to say that this is probably the best web album html generator I've come across. It's small, generates a pretty nice format, and is also pretty quick. although this program still needs some of work, I think it has a great potential. This program's output is pretty slick, almost as good as Gallery 1.3 (another web album that's impossible to use unless u know some php/run apache server/etc.).

A tip for those who're complaining about bad compression for jpeg thumbnails, one solution I can think of is to use another program, like IrfanView, to do batch conversations of the original file to 100x75 thumbail at 70+ quality. Then, get another program to rename the files to "thumb_[original file name].jpg", the copy it to the thumbnail folder and u're left w/ some sharper thumbnails.

(note mark: is this tip legit? i.e. some program writers have problems w/ other people modifying their programs and stuff. however, this isn't technically modifying the program since you're just modifying the output. delete my tip if u'd like to keep the thumbnail output "as is" for now. thnx.

    Thanks webguy,

I encourage tips like these. Afterall, that's what the forums are here for.

(It also gives me incentives to improve Web Album Generator!)

You can use IrfanView as a batch renamer also.
