So my audio plays fine, if the drive has been active recently. The drive takes a bit to spin back up if it hasn't been in use for very long (AKA after a night of non-use while I sleep). Is there a way to change the time before citrus gives up on loading the song and plays the error sound instead?

It gives an error summarized as: Took too long to open media.

Thanks for the report, WACOMalt. I'll increase the timeout and make it configurable through some advanced setting for the next release.

I have a similiar problem. I had to wakeup the PC 5 minutes before the alarm was activated.

This also happens sometimes when I'm not in sleep mode. Is there somewhere to increase the timout you mentioned?

I am having the same issue ("Took too long to open media"), except that in my case the error stops the fade-in audio feature. The alarm goes off, but the volume never increases (music can be heard faintly).

I've uploaded a new version of Citrus Alarm Clock, version 2.3.1, that should fix this issue by increasing the default media timeout threefold. Please give the new version a try and let me know if you still experience any issues with it.

Where can we download the 2.3.1 version? At the homepage, the download link appears to be for version 2.3

The main web page usually omits the revision part of the version number for brevity. Rest assured, it's version 2.3.1 that you'll be getting.
